Refund, Replacement & Warranty Policy

1. Overview

At Art Gallery AU, every piece is made with intention. Our prints, hand-painted canvases, and original artworks are produced in Melbourne and handled with care from studio to doorstep. We design our policies to be fair, transparent, and supportive—protecting both our customers and the artists we work with.

2. Replacement & Repair Policy

2.1 Prints & Wall Decals

We aim for every artwork to arrive in perfect condition. In the unlikely event that your piece arrives damaged or with any manufacturing defect, we will replace it at no extra cost.

Conditions:

• Notify us within 10 days of delivery.
• Provide photos of the packaging and product.
• Replacements are produced and shipped once assessment is complete.

2.2 Original Paintings & Commissioned Artwork

Every original or commissioned piece represents hours of artistic work. If a painting arrives damaged or contains a material defect, we will coordinate with the artist to repair or restore it.

Process:

• The artwork may be collected and returned to the artist for repair.
• Once restored, it will be shipped back to you at no additional cost.

3. 7-Day Change-of-Mind Returns

We want your space to feel right. If you change your mind, Art Gallery AU offers a 7-day change-of-mind return for store credit.

Eligible for Change-of-Mind Return:

• Wall art prints
• Wall decals
• Hand-painted canvas (non-custom)

Not Eligible:

• Customised prints
• Custom colour/size requests
• Hand-painted works with customisation
• Commissioned artworks
• Original paintings

Store Credit Conditions:

• Valid for 12 months
• Can be used for prints and hand-painted canvases

Return Requirements:

• Artwork must be unused, in 'as-new' condition
• Must be securely packaged in original packaging
• Return shipping is paid by the customer

4. Order Cancellation Policy

Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours, provided production has not started.

5. Warranty Policy

We stand behind the craftsmanship of every piece. All warranties apply to Australian customers only, and begin from the date of purchase.

Warranty Coverage:

Warranty Exclusions — your warranty is void if:

• Care instructions were not followed
• Damage is caused by misuse, improper installation, accident, or environmental exposure
• Artwork was altered or re-framed improperly

Warranty Claim Process:

• Contact us immediately once an issue is found
• Provide clear photos of the artwork and the defect
• Claims are reviewed case by case
• Approved claims will be repaired or replaced at no cost
